. Editorial . My french point of view .

"Why strangers who dare coming here are so surprised ? they are welcome, we are not savages, we are European ! " That's what said to me many people in Albania.

You dream to discover (or you did it) Russia, China, Cuba, etc., but those countries are not the best one's about the human rights respect. Even the Morocco kingdom, so visited, is not democratic at all. Democraty is coming step by step in Albania since 1991, next elections in February 2007. What preconceived idea keep you away from Albania so close to Europa, so original also.

. Noticed in Albania . Your travel information .
In this chapter you can find many practical information you need to preview your travel. As you will see by yourself, I prefer show original sights of culture and way of life and meet Albanians rather than visit historic monuments or sites. This is not an encyclopedia but a human approach.
This web site will be updated and upgraded after my next travels (soon) in Albania, but you can help me for this -see your experience- if you ever travelled in this country.

. Tourism projects . Tours or stops .

For historic reasons (see chapter history) this country was not realy open for tourism until about ten years ago. Except the coastwise hotels encouraged by authority, in exponantial and anarchic development, very few was done to develop the internal space of Albania.
I consider that those deeply human landanscapes need to be protected, a durable tourism could be a good solution for this. You want to try it ?

I was a professionnal photographer and I hope learn some money by saling albaneese pictures to finance the study of equitable tourism projects.
Now more than 300 high-quality pictures (8 to 9 Mpx) are avaible to sale. Of course, I am sorry, the pictures on line are in small sizes and resolutions, for security reasons.
